When it comes to food, that means making assumptions about different people based on the foods they like. Whether you live in a city with a diverse population or not, chances are you have some idea of what foods are associated with white people. For example lettuce, kale, quinoa, and anything else you probably wouldn’t find at a Waffle House. That’s because whether you know it or not (and let’s be honest, it’s probably the latter), there is a sort of cultural stereotype when it comes to food and race.
